Robert Stanton an American television, movie, and stage actor, director, and playright, was born on March 8, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas, but was raised in Virginia instead. He went to college at New York University (NYU), majored in an acting program there, and as a result, he has directed and appeared in numerous Broadway plays. One of his better known movie roles is that of Dean Crandell in 1998's Mercury Rising. He also appeared in a total of six Law and Order episodes, from 1991 to 2006.
